As I live a Life Aligned, I often find myself getting nervous in some of the best ways.
Everyday, after coffee and granola, I get ready to head to our school's clinic to treat my patients.
Everyday I try my best to look professional.
Everyday I put lotion on my hands and try to keep them warm (since my hands are LITERALLY always cold) so I can use my hands to help my patient's bodies heal, they are prepared.
My Hands ARE MY GREATEST TOOL.
And EVERYDAY I get nervous before the clinic is announced "Open" and I know my classmates and I are going to help people in tremendous ways.
Chiropractic is such an incredibly powerful tool to help a body's natural ability to heal itself. I get nervous because I know that my patients are trusting in me and my professional knowledge to help remove any negative insult to their spine. They are trusting me with their questions, their families, and their overall well being. They may leave our clinic with less pain, with less tightness, with less stress, and with a more healthy and happy outlook on their day-- Those are my goals anyways! I get nervous because I have such a powerful tool, knowledge and belief in WHAT I do and WHY I do it, and I only hope to make some impact in a person's life each day.
Some days I may be nervous simply because my husband and I are discussing our future. Our future practice, new home, adventures, and family-- These things make me nervous in all the best ways, because I know with all my heart we will NOT give up on our dreams. We will ALWAYS work hard for what we want and need, and we hope to make an impact in our community for the better.
Some days I may be nervous that what I cook for supper won't turn out as delicious as I hope! It is little things like that which make me realize I am so beyond blessed to live a life I am passionate about.
I LOVE MY HUSBAND.
I LOVE GETTING TO TREAT MY PATIENTS.
I LOVE COMING HOME AND BEING A WIFE AND A MOTHER.
and I LOVE getting nervous, because it means I have feelings, I have passion, I have an intensity burning inside me for what I do and where I am in life that pushes me to ALWAYS better myself!
What makes you nervous in the best ways!?
E xoxo
